I checked out all of the cart in camp sites before picking one. I had the entire place to myself so that was special. Well spaced, wooded, natural camping area. There is a 3.5 mile trail around the lake. The beach is closed for the season but still plenty of golfers were out. I don't know what it's like in the summer season but I will be checking it out again.
We enjoy coming here for a swim in the summer. Not as clear water as the paid beaches, but can't beat free! Boat rentals were fun too.
My dog loves this place soo much space to run and normally a couple friendly dogs to play with. There is a water fountain for you and your pet also a little hose so if your dog gets dirty you can rinse them off. It is a pay to use dog park though with a little drop box for payment.
Went to the off leash dog park here. It's a nice park with a lot of trails and open areas for my 2 year old puppy to stretch her legs. You will find this place busy on the weekends. Most of the dogs and the people I've encountered have been nice and respectful. You can buy a pass to use it unlimitedly on the three rivers website. If you have a puppy or a dog that needs to get out and socialize, I recommend that option. Unlike other dog parks in the system, this dog park does not have an area for small or frail dogs. If you have a pup of such, I suggest the one in Victoria.
I always enjoy going to Cleary. The trails are nice and well mantained. The scenery is beautfiul, especially in the fall. There's a good variety of activities offered here during all seasons. I love taking my pups to the off leash dog park. It's one of the better ones in the metro area.
