The entire staff at Prior Lake Pet Hospital were incredibly kind and helpful. I did not have to wait they explained everything and gave me options. They followed up with calls to check up on Echoo and I truely felt they cared. I will be changing vets because of how they treated both of us.
Wonderful employees here. It was extremely difficult having to put down not one but both my family's dog and cat due to cancer and the staff here sent us a card expressing their sympathies. I recently adopted a kitten and they were very helpful with my first visit. I will continue to go here.
We have been going to PLPH for years. The Vets and Vet Techs are all wonderful and have done an amazing job caring for our fur babies. They saw our sweet pup through good health, cancer and were with us (at home) to help send her peacefully to puppy heaven. Their compassion made an incredibly hard day a bit easier and we will be forever grateful. We will continue to go to them with all of our future fur family members.
I brought in a cat that had been hit on the road but was still alive. It was the nearest location in an emergent situation. Without having thought it through due to wanting to get the cat the help it so desperately needed, I assumed the financial responsibility for it. They told me that his injuries were severe and it was best to do the humane thing and euthanize him. The veterinarian was so kind, she thanked me for being a good Samaritan and told me there would be no charge for the emergency service. The cat was put to sleep rather than suffering for who knows how long on the road or in a ditch. I am grateful for the kind service given by everyone involved that day.
